How do I get QuickBooks certified?

 I didn't know that there was such a thing as QuickBooks certified. But since you do, you must be pretty good at QuickBooks. It really is popular for small businesses. So you should have a great deal of opportunity.

I don't like it because it seems to be an accounting system for people without experience in accounting. It is hardwired to prevent adjusting journal entries. As a General Ledger Accountant and CPA, I would use AJEs to correct multiple user errors. But QuickBooks doesn't seem to allow these. Instead, you have to go back to the book of original entry to make the correction. It's more difficult to trace the adjustment this way. The audit trail isn't as good. The Intuit Income Tax Preparation program is the same way. It is hard wired and doesn't allow adjustments. The tax program is good now and accurate. So adjustments don't need to be made now, but in earlier years they did. Intuit is the same company that makes QuickBooks.
