How do you post an EIDL loan in QuickBooks?

 How do I enter an EIDL Loan in QB, and then Track Expenses The Loan Proceeds were spent on, like rent etc.

Go to the Accounting menu.

Select Chart of Accounts.

Click New.

In the Account Type dropdown, scroll down and choose Other Income.

Enter the desired name that you'll easily recognize, like an EIDL loan.
